1996 Camry programming keyless remoteRbear49 08-17-2008, 02:10 PM I have read many postings on programming keyless remotes, but it appears that one has to have the exact model, year, and type of remote for the right instructions. Therefore, rather than trying the variety of instructions that I have read (and face a beeping car) I will ask for our specific car. Can someone give us or guide us to the instructions for programming the keyless remote for a 96 Camry LE. As I understand it is important to mention that the code on the remote is BAB237131-022 which I believe means that it is dealer installed? Thank you. Rbear49 08-30-2008, 05:38 PM Looks like a bunch of people looked at my message, but no one has replied. Is there anyone out there who can give me any hint or direction - please. somick 08-30-2008, 06:36 PM Try www.toyotanation.com. I have seen some instructions there. Good luck, Sam Onblsht 09-21-2008, 08:11 PM Yes, for the 1996 model, you will need a BLACK case (not gray case) remote with FCC: BAB237131-022. Here is a link to a copy of the original programming manual: http://www.parksoffroad.com/tacomamods/alarminfo/alarminfo.htm Brian R. 09-21-2008, 10:26 PM Please do not post links to other forums home pages.
