96 mustang gt oxygen sensor

I can't get a socket on the right side upstream oxygen sensor because the starter is in the way. Will I be able to remove the o2 sensor if I take off the starter. Also, how hard is it to get the starter off?

Fixed it. There's an wrench access path once the right wheel is removed. Luckily the o2 sensor wasn't on too tight.
