Wheel speed sensor trigger ringCnlK 08-14-2008, 10:20 AM Both wheel speed sensor trigger rings are cracked on the front axles. Passenger side had opened up & showed signs of contacting sensor so I removed it. Is there a two piece trigger that can be installed or would two new axles be required to bring abs back. Any thoughts appreciated, didn't uncover much with a search. rhandwor 08-14-2008, 02:26 PM I always bought rebuilt axles from this company. As they rebuild them at their location you can email and ask them. I used to pay around $99.00 to $139.00. I may be thinking of a rack and pinion. http://www.cvsource.com/index.html I'm certain they are higher at this time. A rebuilder can buy parts you don't have axcess to so ask all they say is buy a rebuilt. I think they put them in a lathe and press on a new oversize ring. beyondloadedSE 08-14-2008, 05:31 PM I always bought rebuilt axles from this company. Axlesforless.com sells them for $65/piece This is generally the recommended site on CEG since they sell GCK axles which are beefier than stock. There's a $35 coupon floating around on CEG as well. I can try and find it if you like. CnlK 08-14-2008, 05:48 PM Thanks for the tips. $65 each for the axles is a decent price, hard to find a even a wheel sensor for that price, mine were all OK, the cracked trigger rings were the source of the problem, that is the abs being activated during braking. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
