Transmission leaks

My GCL 95 5.2L has an intermittent (once a week) transmission oil leak. The leak is less than half of a tea spoon. It leaks close to the flywheel so I can't really see exactly where it came from. Oil level is a little over the maximum dip stick mark so I'm wondering if I have too much oil or is it something else. BTW the transmission was rebuilt in 2006. Is this major or minor fix? Any advise is appreciated.

Sounds like the input shaft to the front of the Trans was not addressed?

Pull the Trans dipstick or pull the engine dipstick. Find out who matches the spoon smell or color. Could be used seals never replaced but you where charged for it, say alleged or there are no parts used but reused? :headshake

Spytearbite,
It is red, no doubt about it.
