Having a hard time starting my car, its a 2 litre, it keeps cranking and cranking and its trying to start. After turning off the key and restart, it will start.
What can be the problem.
Thanks

Are you having a hard time starting your car when the engine is cold, hot or both. If it's only hard starting when cold then your cold start time switch is most likely bad. It's the sensor under the brown cap. Follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine and you will see it.

On my 1989 4 cyl. Camry my cold start time switch is bad so instead of replacing it I unplugged it and ran a wire from the green wire of the plug into the car. When I start my car and the engine is cold I ground this wire on one of my drivers seat holddown bolts only until the car starts. Works like a charm.:)

Good idea! I would have never thought of that one.
