From what i have read online, they are pretty dependable and can go the distance. They do also have the opti-spark systems which can be costly to replace if you have problems with them. They also have traction control, which if you are not used to can be distracting. The gas pedal will feel like it is pushing back at you if you get on the throttle to hard. To bypass the traction control, hit the switch in the glove box and lite up those rear tires..:naughty: Good luck Al 96capricemgr 08-11-2008, 07:13 PM The fleetwood is just a b-body stretch 13" overall I think 7" of it is in the wheelbase. VERY much the same car you already have mechanically. Biggest mechanicaldifference is probably the 4 channel ABS which makes gear ratio changes cheaper. mike561 08-11-2008, 09:23 PM is it rear wheel drive? easiest way to tell is if the engine is sideways, then its front wheel of course Blt2Lst 08-11-2008, 09:26 PM Caddy Fleetwood's are RWD :smokin: easiest way to tell is if the engine is sideways, then its front wheel of course 94HeavyChevy 08-11-2008, 09:39 PM anyone know how much power they have, the one im lookin at is a 96 fleetwood brougham. i figure i can sell my 95 caprice for around 2 thousand and then i would only have to put down another 2 thousand to get the caddy which looks amazing.
