stablizer bar snapped out at the top. Can it snap back in?

It is still bolted in at the top to the strut assembly, but in the bushing it has 'snapped out'. would i have to replace it? would both have to be replaced together?



btw this is windstar 2002 sport edition. I think I MIGHT HAVE DONE THIs going over a bump in the road last week( allittle too fast because i didn't see it). Anything else i should check?

yep, if it's broken as in you can see the nut attached to the strut but the stabilizar link is loose than you need to replace it. I'd do both, they're not that much $$. I'd also have a reputable shop or someone who knows suspension/steering to check things out. If you've hit a bump that caused that damage I'd want a good shake down of the rest of the components (LCAs, tie rods, stabilizer bar bushings).

well both were replaced on sunday cost me about $43 each on sale and made by monroe.

I might do a little look around the front end myself. Thanks piper.
