Will you have the rims in a different color or do they stay green? IMHO it doesn´tfit the yellow that good. Besides that the paint job is great - nice looking... Robert KevHw 08-21-2008, 01:58 PM Personally I'm really not liking the green for the wheels and I hope you won't keep it that way. Black or white would look good I think :p xpeed 08-21-2008, 02:11 PM ^ Thanks, but unfortunately, the wheels will stay green. Sorry to disappoint you guys but it's how I wanted it from the beginning and now it's too late for to go back and redo it. Ferrari TR 08-21-2008, 03:13 PM the yellow and green triggers my gag reflex... ...you owe me lunch... lmao xpeed 09-15-2008, 12:21 AM Hey all, it's almost done. I just didn't post any pictures yet till now. All I got left is the rear wing in which I am in the process of applying CF decal. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y78/xpeed/DSC01124.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y78/xpeed/DSC01126.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y78/xpeed/DSC01128.jpg KevHw 09-15-2008, 11:48 AM It's good to see you've almost completed it. From the photos though, I can't help but nit-pick at some little details like tidying up the headlight black-surround (looks like you went a bit wonky with the Sharpie). Maybe rub it off then use some masking tape to help achieve that straight edge. Looking at the engine cover, maybe thin out your black paint a bit more to help it dry with a more even surface. Looking forward to seeing how the wing turns out and please show off the body in nice sunlight  godfather23 09-15-2008, 04:29 PM It's good to see you've almost completed it. Same here. You started off very well and it seems as you are rushing to the finish line a little. Take some minutes and clean the front light and engine cover glass. Your effort will pay off trust me. You might also want to rethink the front fog lights. Seems as they could use some trim as well as a shaded background to make it look more realistic. I like your the CF-panels in the front hood. Robert xpeed 09-15-2008, 05:24 PM ^ Yeah, I'll get some of those things fixed later on. I'm taking my time on the wing since it's so difficult to apply the CF on it. XD Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
