The cruise is non-existant on my Father in Law's 04 lesabre. Where do I start?

He said it doesn't do anything.

He said it doesn't do anything. I would start at the dealer, they have a Tech-II scanner that can help diagnose this type of problem.

Check to see if the cruise control switch mounted in the steering wheel comes on. I have had to replace the one in my 02 twice. Very simple job. Simply pry out the old one with a small screwdriver and disconnect the wire harness, reconnect and pop the new one in. Two minute job. I think the switch was about $18 at the Buick dealer.

On "some" GM vehicles if the third brake light burns out the cruise won't work. I don't know if this applies to the Lesabre though.
