To disarm permently I've heard you can ground a purple wire in the drivers kick panel/door. Also this was posted: You can disconnect the factory vtss, but you have to have the jeep running. The module is behind the dash to the right of the radio. You have to take the right side of the dash apart. There is a module about the size of a pack of cigarettes it might be black or a reddish color. If the jeep is running, unplug it and let it run for about 2 minutes. Then the pcm should "forget" about the alarm and it should be good to go.You can leave it unplugged. If the jeep doesn't start, you obviously can't do this. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
