Hello to all,

This coming Friday I'm having my 89' Camry serviced for the 230K mile schedule. Ohter than the usual is their anything else that I should pay attention more than the usual???? It's been a very reliable car for me since bought new.

We would need to know the last time (mileage) the following were changed/checked:

1) oil & filter
2) air filter
3) spark plugs
4) transmission fluid & filter
5) differential fluid
6) fuel filter
7) cap & rotor
8) timing belt & idler pulleys
9) coolant, hoses, & thermostat
10) serpentine & power steering belts
11) tire rotation & alignment

You can usually gauge the mileage intervals for these by checking the owner's manual and then extrapolating out to your mileage.

jd,

Thanks for your response to my question. Everything generally you describe is already part of the 230K service. My timing belt (rubber band) water pump and camshaft seal won't need to be done until another 10K.

I'll just wait to see if anything unusual need to be repaired.
