Hi, I have a 1993 Jeep GC, 5.2L. I think I found it, but I do not see any bolts. I followed the wires to a piece near the passenger manifold; however, I can't see or feel the bolts. Is there a plastic cover over it? Are the bolts removed from the top or bottom? Also, if you can give me any suggestions on getting it out would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks....from a guy who has been working on this all day.

The Crankshaft Position sensor should be on the transmission bell housing on the passenger side and is removed from the bottom, is that where you are looking?

The CPS on the 5.2L engine is on the Passengerside of of the engine, mounted directly behind the cylinder head and is bolted to the Transmission Bellhousing. Remove the EGR Valve tube (from the exhaust manidolf and intake manifold) and you should be able to reach around the head and feel the bolts. You need to remove it from the top.
