I have a 94 camry that is stalling sometimes. I was driving it down the highway and i turned my ac on and it started acting like it was going to stall. When I turned the ac off it stopped. Sometimes it wont start right away in the morning. And when i get it started it eventually stalls. I have replaced the spark plugs and the distributor.

It has 115,000 miles on it. I replaced the entire distributor. I also replaced the wires and it still does it. I had a problem with it a couple months ago and I ended up needing a new distributor. Could the distributor go bad that quick?

We need more information about your vehicle: mileage, manintenance history.

Did you replace entire distributor or only a cap?

If spark plugs, wires and distributor turn out OK, the next suspect would be the fuel delivery system.

I'd also check the timing. As the belt stretches, the camshaft can lag behind the crankshaft...or it may have skipped a tooth.

Was it the same problem that replacing the distributor corrected? I'm assuming that the "new" distributor is a rebuilt. Some are known to be of poor quality.

After all that, check the IAC valve that is supposed to kick the throttle up a bit when the A/C is turned on...could be a vacuum leak or loose hose.
