1999 Bravada, engine removal

I am stuck on getting the two top bell housing bolts, wiring, and lines loose from attachments at the back of the motor. There is just a very small space to work with, and if I am able to get things loose I have no idea how I would be able to get them back together. I have removed the cross member and let the motor drop, but with the transfer case still attatched it doesn't let it drop enough to get to the bolts from underneath. Please help..

Thanks

Welcome to AF, you tackled a tough job here, I believe a very long extension with a flex socket will get to the bolts.

when trying to install a bolt in a tight area and angle were it keeps falling out of the socket, dip the bolt head in bee's wax before putting it in the socket. The sticky wax will hold it in the socket.

Put a coupla rounds of electrical tape on a flex socket to keep it from being too flexible when starting a bolt at a distance.

Hey Max, a fella told me a 65' Race Hemi Plymouth recently sold for $67K at Barrett Jackson...some folks are just plain lucky.
