i started this last year sometime. after blowing the dust off of it a few weeks ago, it got hit with some squadron, sanded and painted. all it needs now is a rear bumper, mirrors, headlights and a polish on the roof section. then its off to my girlfriends work to collect dust on her desk.

some pictures...

the use of the ford truck grill, and hood-side exit open headers really does clean up the front end of that otherwise non-hi-boy-able body. The flat blue/purple looks great (though I personally would have gone with something darker for more of a rat rod look).

Throw some decal solvent/setting solution on that #7 and call it good.

thanks for the comments guys

rsx: the grill is actually from a 41 chevy pickup kit

Ahh, that's it. I was thinking a 38 ford.

a 38' ford grill probably would have looked awesome as well, theyve always reminded me of a cocoon.

well added some backfire to it, and im calling it done.
i think it looks alright, was going to detail it more but i know how i get and didnt want to end up tearing the whole car apart and rebuilding because of some new vision.

Looks a lot like the mini modifieds you'd see at the local dirt oval...but cool.

the flame thing is pretty funny.
