)2 sensor heating problem!!!thonda1 07-25-2008, 11:05 PM I have a 2000 Honda Accord LX 4cyclinder sedan. My check engine light has been reading a p1167 code, which is the 1st circuit heating system o2 sensor problem. After buying an aftermarket o2 sensor, and then eventually a honda o2 sensor, the check engine light is still on. I figure it is the wiring, but if anyone knows what else it could be would be great help Also, I am unsure as to whether or not this problem is causing my heating gauge to move towards the red when i remain idol after driving for a while. I don't think it's actually overheating though, because the engine drives like normal even when it says its overheating. somick 07-28-2008, 11:22 AM I think you have two different problems. If your O2 sensor is the right one and you installed it correctly you should try to reset the check engine light. For the overheating issue try to bleed your cooling system from all the air. Make sure your thermostat is working. Good luck, Sam vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
