ABS Lighttmas79 07-25-2008, 11:00 AM My 96 K1500's ABS light has come on. For about a week it would turn on and off (seemed to come on in the afternoon-hot outside and be off in the morning). Now the light is on all the time. Is there anyway to diag this or what am I looking at for repairs? My local shop wants to charge me $99 to run a diag. Thanks! MT-2500 07-25-2008, 02:22 PM Does the 99 dollars include minor repair on it? You need a ABS capable scanner to read out the abs data and run a diagnostic check on it and get codes. It takes About 10 minutes to read codes and diagnostic data . 30 -50 minutes to fix/replace most minor problems like speed sensors. If you can get the code no post it back for more info and help on it. MT vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
