I have a severe oil leak at the timimg chain area. I'm guessing there are some bad seals. My question is, Do I have to disassemble the timing area to get to them?

Yes. You might as well replace the timing belt, water pump, accessory belts, etc while you're in there.

I forgot to ask if this was a dificult task to attempt. I am pretty much very good with my hands but I've never done any work as far as the timing goes. About a week ago, I dropped the tank and replaced a bad fuel pump. I just wanna know from someone that has successfully done this. I did have the timing belt and water pump replaced a couple of years ago by a mechanic because I wasn't sure I could do it.
