Hi, the barn doors on my 2001 Suburban will not open. I hear it locking and unlocking when I turn the key in the lock and also when I push the lock and unlock buttons. But when I pull the barn door handle, it will not open. Anyone have an idea what it could be? I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks.

Hard to say without looking in it.
Can you get the inside door panel off to see in there?
Lot of little levers and linkage on door lock that may be broke or off or stuck.
If you can figure out a way to spray some nut blaster or penetrating oil on the door latch inside part.

Have you tried opening them from the inside? If they will open from the inside, then you know you need to take the panel off and have a look see in there as something has came apart.
