Has anyone picked up the '08 City Golf? The price seems pretty solid and from the reviews I'm reading, it seems like a good buy for me.

I don't really need the horsepower since I just use it to commute so the weakish engine isn't really an issue.

Any idea how reliable it is? I couldn't find anything on it. I'd probably be renting the car for four years and then deciding if it's worth keeping.

Oh well, papers are signed now. Waiting for my first VW some time next week. Ended up getting the basic, gimmick-free Golf and spend some cash on a DVD deck instead. Can't wait for it to get here. :iceslolan
