I had a water pump installed about two months ago because the one before that was leaking from the top of the pump. I would sometimes see a small pool of coolant on the ground. I noticed a small leak forming at the top of this new pump about two weeks after it was installed. WTF?

Did you do it or the shop? If the shop, check if labor is under warranty. Let them fix it if it’s under warranty.

If the labor is not covered and you intend to fix it yourself, it would help if you could post some pictures so that we can take a look.

I had a shop do it but I'm wondering why it would be leaking from the same exact spot only weeks after being installed. I'm thinking its not so much the mechanic but rather my Jeep. The posting rules state I cannot post pics. How can I get around this?

What engine do you have?
If it's the 5.2L or the 5.9L then it could be the bypass hose leaking or even just a bad water pump, not uncommon.
