My air condition quit working on a road trip yesterday on my 98 Grand Cherokee. I opened the hood and noticed that the compressor was not spinning and was soaked with freon. I am going to replace to seal in the compressor because right now I just don't have the money to replace the compressor. The compressor does turn on when I run a jumper, but all the freon has leaked out of it. Any one know how to go by replacing this seal in the compressor? I know it is probably easier to just replace the compressor but I can't afford it right now. Any help would be great. Thanks.
