i have a 97 accord coupe. lately i have started to hear something rattle under the hood. it happens mainly when i turn the car off but i can also hear it sometimes when i'm driving. It sounds like the fan is hitting part of the shroud or something because right when i turn the car off it rattles fast but slows down and stops in about 10 - 15 seconds. At first it just started when I was running the A/C and turned the car off, now it happens every time.

it hasn't had an affect on the way the car drives or anything, its just more annoying when i turn the car off than anything. if anyone has an ideas what may be causing this or how to fix it i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Sometimes you just got to open the hood and take a look and listen. It may be obvious or you might be able to trace the noise.
