My redline is about 5200 but when I hold it open no matter which gear it shifts into, it shifts at 4200. It seems a little low to me so before I adjust the throttle valve cable I thought I would see what others are shifting at. Thanks.

My 4.0 shifts at around 4500 k from 1st to second.

that's pretty close to mine. the reason i question it is all other automatics ive owned(which is very many) will shift at redline.
