Nsr 500 Checa 1998miguel s 07-07-2008, 06:20 AM my last bike. first photos at 90% finished. i think that the most important to soy of this bike is the haard work with decals. Very big decals. I used a lot of mark setter and microsol... one decal was broken. next step, more work with exaust. http://s2.subirimagenes.com/fotos/previo/thump_734807tam-14072-honda-nsr.jpg http://s2.subirimagenes.com/otros/previo/thump_734769tam-14072-honda-nsr.jpg http://s2.subirimagenes.com/otros/previo/thump_734783tam-14072-honda-nsr.jpg http://s2.subirimagenes.com/otros/previo/thump_734791tam-14072-honda-nsr.jpg http://s2.subirimagenes.com/otros/previo/thump_734797tam-14072-honda-nsr.jpg i hope somebody like it. gracias miguel s 07-07-2008, 06:27 AM Roca46 07-07-2008, 06:52 AM Hi miguel bienvenido!!! I found this kit in July Sales off and am trying to build it (first bike ever) but I feel a bit lost coming from cars models... thanks for the answer miguel s 07-09-2008, 03:47 PM Great job ! I have a question about Checa's NSR: is the main frame really chrome or is the tamiya original part accurate ? I found this kit in July Sales off and am trying to build it (first bike ever) but I feel a bit lost coming from cars models... thanks for the answer Thats the original part, but for the next NSR ill use: ALCLAD 2 LACQUER POLISHED ALUMINUM. (now is coming from japan to spain ) I think that if you come from cars you dont have any problem. (i´m a military modeller :grinyes:, thats another world.) the problem of this bike are the super size of the decals. For this model dont forget to buy "blue x-4 from tamiya" miguel s 07-09-2008, 03:54 PM great i have this one to do hope to see some pictures soon have you any reference shots of this one yes, i have some. Now im bussy at work, but as soon as i can ill send you by mail all that i have. rallymaster 07-13-2008, 10:43 AM Thats the original part, but for the next NSR ill use: ALCLAD 2 LACQUER POLISHED ALUMINUM. (i´m a military modeller :grinyes:, thats another world.) the problem of this bike are the super size of the decals. For this model dont forget to buy "blue x-4 from tamiya" Hi Miguel, Thanks for the answer. So if I understood well the main frame is really chrome. I have a chrome can at home and I may try to spray some paint over the tamiya part then... I feel a bit lost not regarding modelling skills or something like that but more regarding my knwoledges of the motorbike domain...! :eek7: I never saw any moto GP except on TV whereas I go to several rallies to get reference pics. :naughty: So that may not be my last question here :evillol: Thanks again, especially for X-4 tip  Twowheelsrule 07-13-2008, 09:43 PM The frame is "polished Aluminum" it looks similar to the bottom of an Aluminum beer can or soda can maybe a little more shiny. Mark rallymaster 07-13-2008, 10:45 PM oops, so no I didn't understand well... Miguel wasn't doing another better alternative choice but he was doing the right choice ! Thanks Mark, ok polished aluminium so the Tamiya part is better than spraying Chrome...! I'll do with it. thanks guys. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
