4t45e max limits for torque and hp

I cant find any sources that have the same number for max torque limits for the 4t45e transmission. I was seeing 315 on a few sites and 210 and some others.

4T45E, GM RPO Code MN5 max torque is 215 lb-ft.

I read somewhere that GM built one up and the most torq they could get it to take was 234 ft lbs and it destroyed the transmission. :2cents:

well reason i was asking is because i had the transmission redone like 2 years ago only driven the car for like a year because it was involved in an accident and what not. but anyways i was debating what transmission to used for my 3800 swap which i was thinking about using the 4t45e so i would have everything working still and wouldnt have to change axles or hubs and what not.
