So I need a car... any ideas?

Hi guys and thanks in advance for any help! I make an almost weekly trip from Las Vegas, NV to Sacramento, CA. Its a 550 mile trip that includes temperatures well over 110 in the summer, long stretches of open road, and of course Crossing the Sierra Mountains.

The two cars I have right now are not ideal for the trip.

1992 Honda Accord has 210,000 miles on it, has an over heating problem, and i would be surprised if it could handle crossing the sierras

2008 Mazda 3 really struggles crossing the mountains and its a brand new car with low miles on it and I really would rather not put 3-5000 miles on it each month.

So what i need is a car that meets a few basic requirements:
Reliable
Has enough power to cross the mountains
Cheap
Good Fuel economy
Comfortable(its 9-10 hours each way i don't want to sit on a rock the whole time)So that basicly sums it up. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch

Pontiac G6 offers some pretty decent power and as long as you don't drive it hard good fuel mileage. Don't know about reliability though! My mom has one with 16,000 miles on it and it has been pretty good so far. She has had some front brake issues but other than that problem free.

Well then I would probably recommend a Honda Civic for you. Can't beat it when it comes to reliability and great on gas!

One of the increasingly popular methods of finding auto loans is through the Household Auto Finance, due to many companies now moving into the industry. With many young people looking for car loans the market is huge and now many companies are starting to offer loans for people with good or bad credit. If you want to start looking for a loan online then you'll need to make sure you do the research. It will take more than a few days to find an link removed by Moderator - unauthorized advertising because you need to make sure that you're getting a good deal.:)
