i have a 1993 blazer 4x4, 4.3 cpi . it has electronic 4x4, the switch is located on the left side close to the light switch. there is only a 4hi botton and a 4 low button. i can put it in 4 low and it pulls from the front tires, but when you put it in 4 hi it doesnt pull from the front, i tried it in grass and gravel. when you put it in 4 hi or 4 low, both lights come on ( the 4 hi light and the 4 low light). until today i couldnt get any 4x4 to work, then i changed the a vaccuum switch on the transfer case and now i get 4low... im confused.. please help .... thanks

There is a cobination to how to push the buttons to get it to shift.
Read owners maual and instructions.

thanks for that information, i have an owners manual and i have read up on it, however my problem isn't with me not knowing how to shift it , i have had another truck like this one and it shifted nice into four wheel drive. this truck when you press the four high button, both indicator lights come on and it is still in two wheel, when you press four low both indicator lights are still on but four wheel drive does work in four low. i know how the switch works but dont know why both lights are on or why 4 hi does not work but 4 lo does. also i cant shift into four wheel in any gear but neutral, it should work in park...drive..but doesnt ...only in neutral, i tried to adjust the shift lever but cant seem to adjust it properly, the truck has a 3inch body lift that is why the shifter lever needs to be adjusted. any more information would be greately appreciated.

It sounds like you have a major problem with the shifting.
I am not up much on the transfer case shifting.

A good factory service manual or a all data sub.
Would be your best source of information on it.
They should have a repair flow chart for the repair on it
