Any good links for doing brakes on a 96 xj

Ok im going to replace my front brakes, i am looking for a good tech write up:headshake people say its an easy job but these are the brakes so i want to make sure i do it right. im putting all new rotors any help would be much appreciated :rofl:

It's a very routine job. Your best bet would be to pick up a Chiltons or Haynes manual for your jeep.

However, I did find a good link with pictures. He is also replacing his brake calipers, and bleeding them, but if you just skip these steps, you should have no problems if you just follow the write up.

Basically the job only entails pulling off the front wheels, removing the 2 bolts that hold on your brake calipers (the parts that move your pads in and out), and then pulling off the discs. Then just put it all back together again.
