View Full Version : A/C just serviced but T° not very cold A/C just serviced but T° not very cold Christophe Salvain 06-23-2008, 05:56 AM My '00 Suburban has been A/C serviced by a pro : - drain and refill with R134a, - oil, - fluo tracer leak. Now T° is cold but not very cold. It's like there a heater and cooling blend. Compressor runs fine. Any advices is welcome. Christophe Salvaing brcidd 06-23-2008, 08:10 AM Does the "pro" know it's not working right? -- give him a chance to fix it-- sometimes it takes a second look..... Pressure readings would be nice....... OleBones 07-31-2008, 08:04 PM Check this place out, lots of very friendly and helpful folks. http://acsource.net/acforum/ Cusser 08-01-2008, 09:57 PM Why did the "pro" service it, what was wrong? If you think it's really also blending in heat, bypass the heater core with some heater hose (I do that every summer in my '88 Mazda truck). east302 08-03-2008, 11:51 PM Didn't these have the filter for the a/c blower? It might be clogged up by now if it hasn't been changed. Or maybe the evaporator coil is filled with dirt and gunk, but the filter would catch that. I believe it's under the glove box on these trucks. Christophe Salvain 08-05-2008, 08:24 AM Didn't these have the filter for the a/c blower? It might be clogged up by now if it hasn't been changed. Mmmhhhh... service was just drain R134a refill with new one + oil + fluo tracer. Cabon filter was changed 9 month ago. I''ll bring back it ASAP.
