i have a 1991 ninty eight, i had it stall at a stop light. i noticed the fuel pump went out. i replaced it and im still having troubles. i've replaced almost everything since i bought the car. eg. coil pack, wires, and now the fuel pump. theres fuel pressure and a spark. it cranks over but i can't get it to run at all. is there any other major problems that i should be aware of?

How much fuel pressure? will it start with carb cleaner sprayed into the intake?

Im getting 40 to 50 psi and it holds. i let the key sit in the "run" position for about 20 minutes with starter fluid in the intake. starts right up now, everytime. Thanks.

It was only running on 4 cylinders. spur of the moment.. i put a new coil pack in... still only running on 5 cylinders. #3 isnt running.

The Coil pack gets really hot on the top square, cooler at the bottom one. it melted the green protectent on the Ignition Control Module. a computer chip is visible.

Could that make it not fire, or a ECM problem.

Did you replace the ign module and coil pak as an ass'y?

If the ign module showed signs of melting insulation and/or overheating why was it not replaced?

Didn't notice until replacment of coil pack, could that be the problem?
