These were the ceramic pads from Pep Boys with a lifetime warranty. I changed them in July of '04 when I went to CT. They started squealing when the backing plate on the driver's outer pad just started contacting the rotor. I drove it last night and didn't hear it. A fraction more wear and the indicator, at the opposite end of the pad, would have started squealing. All in all, very even wear all the way around. One caliper pin was a little sticky again, but I sanded it down and lubed it well. Instead of running over to Pep Boys to cash in on the warranty, I put some ceramics from Advance in for $40. The original rotors still look good at 176K.
