1987 camaro won't go into Park

Out of the clear, I went to put the car in park and it won't go? It is 700R4, it looks like 2 cables going to the shifter, any idea's

your linkage either stretched and needs replaced, or the nut holding it in place on the trans came loose. you need to get under there and see, it will be on the left (drivers) side.
