Just bought a 2005 STS w/ V8 Northstar

I just bought a 2005 STS w/ the Northstar V-8, it's real sweet so far, just wondering what issues I need to be aware of if any. This one has 31k miles and I'm thinking seriously about buying additional warranty because this thing is jam packed with high tech electronics, if one little thing breaks it'll be a minium one grand to repair no doubt. I drove the V-6's and they did not seem to have enough power so I shopped to find the V-8 which are few around here. I had a Northstar in a Deville and loved the smooth power and decent gas mileage. Now the only problem is keeping my foot off the accelerator.

So if anyone has any advice on the 05 STS please advise. One real crappy thing they left off was an IPod aux port, there's no way to connect an Ipod without using the FM modulator and they are worthless, had one installed and had to take it out due to interference with the FM radio, otherwise no complaints yet.

Congrats! I bought a aftermarket warranty for my 2000 STS when I bought it used in 2003. It's more than paid for itself with the electronics and other parts that have failed.
