Any new ideas from Tamiya? /Joel The same question here. I know that the quality will be the same as always even better but is there any innovation? I like your choice for the colours, I hope to see more. I have this kit also in my pile, so is this worth it? kunta 08-11-2008, 08:03 PM Looks great as usual Kunta. I have this kit also in my pile, so is this worth it? Thanks. some guys already built and presented this kit on here so I think you can imagine how is it. adroit components of this kit will make us great fun to build.:) ZoomZoomMX-5 08-11-2008, 09:00 PM Looks great so far! Love the custom pseudo-factory color scheme :sunglasse Is that a Top Studio chain? I just built the kit totally OOB (with included Ninja ZX-14 US markings) for a magazine review (can't share here until it's published). This kit is up to Tamiya's usual standards, no reason for anyone to avoid for any reason unless they can't afford it's very steep price. I enjoyed the buildup very much. tonioseven 08-11-2008, 09:31 PM This is looking pretty good so far! I expect nothing less than your usual perfection! :sunglasse kunta 08-17-2008, 09:49 AM Is that a Top Studio chain? No, that's stock part. Update pics here. Made mufflers used stock parts. http://www.works-y3f.com/m_cars/9_coming/2008/04_ZZR1400/12.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/m_cars/9_coming/2008/04_ZZR1400/13.jpg Front section. http://www.works-y3f.com/m_cars/9_coming/2008/04_ZZR1400/14.jpg Used Studio27 c/f decal for muffler. http://www.works-y3f.com/m_cars/9_coming/2008/04_ZZR1400/15.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/m_cars/9_coming/2008/04_ZZR1400/16.jpg http://www.works-y3f.com/m_cars/9_coming/2008/04_ZZR1400/17.jpg tonioseven 08-17-2008, 05:47 PM It's coming together rather nicely! :sunglasse gionc 08-18-2008, 05:33 AM Is that a Top Studio chain? That's was my thought too when I seen chain and brake disks. Kunta makes expencive aftermarket parts totally unecessary. My respect, as ever. Duncan1098 08-18-2008, 12:13 PM Looking great, very clean build, the exhaust looks good, nice job on the chain, looks real.
