Is my 85 Mustang V8 FI or 4barrel?

I am just learning about these things, just bought an 85 mustang LX V8 5.0 hatchback, was told it was fuel injected, but then did research online and was given mixed information. I am not sure how to look at an engine and know what fuel inj. looks like. It has the old round air filter on top of the engine, but when I open it, the air intake looks different than the old carb engines i've had in the past. How can I find out, both by looking at VIN for the model type and by looking at the engine? Please excuse my ignorance and lack of experience.

I'm pretty positive that Ford left the carb on there in '85. I've always thought that '86 was the first year of EFI for the 5.0 mustang.
