Hi. New to site and VW ownership. I just bought a 92 Golf and wish to install a baby seat. The problem is that there is no hook/latch behind the rear seat to attach the tether strap to.
I called the dealership near me and parts dest ordered the piece but could offer no direction of how or where to install this in a safe manner. Service dept wouldn't help as they didnt want to assume any liability. What a crock!
