98 blazer interior rearview mirror

i am trying to reatach the interior rear view mirror to the windsheild of my 98 blazer but i dont know how to get the stone out of the housing becaus of the clip holding it is there any trick to this please help caus its tickin me off :banghead:

Insert a small, flat-bladed tool into the slot from the bottom.
Press slightly in order to release the tab.
Slide the mirror off of the support.
