I was wondering if front seats from a 1985 Caprice Classic can be installed in a 1989 Caprice 9c1?

I have the bucket seats, but a fellow close by is selling his seats - a bench, but split in the middle with an armrest from what I can see in the pic and a 3rd seatbelt buck it seems for whomever to sit in the middle.

If it does match, what would likely be a fair offer? $100? (he is parting out the car or selling it whoe for $500)

The seats will swap.

Does the car move under it's own power?

My rule #1 for buying cars - If it moves under it's own power it's worth $500.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply.

He said the car does run, but he's either going to start parting it out or sell it as is (whichever comes first).

So I was just looking to get just the seats for my 89 9C1.

I figure if he's going to value it at $500, then the fronts seats would be worth 1/5 that so thinking $100 just for the front seats would be fair.

I guess it would be just a basic screw/bolt off and on?

Maybe a wiring harness to disconnect, but other than that...4 nuts per side.
