The fuse box on the passenger side cabin, keeps blowing my 15A mini fuse for the brake lights. No hesitation at all i put a new fuse in, hit the pedal, pop. Looking to see if i need a new brake switch, or if i got a short in the brake lights????? Im reallly not wanting to have to rewire the whole car so any advice would be great as to where to point me in the right direction!!

Did you put out the light and brake? Then you see if the cable broke or if the lights make the curcuit...

Weird question, but you don't have trailer hitch/wiring on it do you?

I've run across this several times on cars, and it was a problem in the trailer wiring. One time it was from a spare key wrapped in electrical tape and put in the tralier wiring receptacle to hide it...probably seemed like a good idea at the time...

Sometimes the owner didn't even realize it had it...the hitch had been removed and the wiring was cut and tucked up underneath...over time it deteriorates and shorts out.
