PeteA216 06-04-2008, 04:23 PM It has to be wired directly to the brake switch circuit under the dash. inafogg 06-04-2008, 04:41 PM hello,if its wired into the brake lamp ass. u should be able to disconnect it from t/s & wire it into the brake lamp. mike561 06-04-2008, 06:17 PM ok i think i know what one you mean 463 06-04-2008, 08:30 PM It has to be wired directly to the brake switch circuit under the dash. i did this on my 1980. spliced a wire onto the wire out of the brake switch and ran it to the high mount lamp and grounded the lamp. worked good for me. 463:2cents: mike561 06-04-2008, 08:46 PM haha why diddnt i think of that mike561 06-04-2008, 10:01 PM also one last question, what color would the brake light wire be? i know the cruise control system is wired through the switch too right? PeteA216 06-05-2008, 12:17 PM I don't know off the top of my head, but if you have a Haynes or Chilton manual, the schematic will let you know. mike561 06-05-2008, 01:38 PM ok ill just refer to that vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
