What is this part from?drcoffee 06-03-2008, 08:28 PM I found this on my garage floor and it looks like an airbox component but I can't find where is came from. It is hollow and looks like it meters air flow. It was perfectly clean and dry when I found it which leads me to the top of the engine somewhere. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8d820b3127ccec417605e8c4900000035118AZM2zNo3cNQ e3nws http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b8d820b3127ccec4169d836d0e00000026108AZM2zNo3cNQ e3nws tempfixit 06-04-2008, 09:00 PM What year vehicle? drcoffee 06-04-2008, 09:09 PM What year vehicle? 2000 Villager tempfixit 06-14-2008, 09:02 PM If you haven't fiquired it out yet could it be this Ambient Air Sensor? http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?parttype=756&ptset=A&searchfor=Air+Charge+Temperature+Sensor drcoffee 06-16-2008, 03:13 PM If you haven't fiquired it out yet could it be this Ambient Air Sensor? http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?parttype=756&ptset=A&searchfor=Air+Charge+Temperature+Sensor That's what I was leaning to but I can't find a loose hanging wire anywhere. Nor can I find a replacement part that looks like it. I also checked my kid's Honda Civic but nothing looks missing. If I had to guess it looks like this part seperated from the electronic portion of the sensor. Where is this ambient air temp sensor located on the '00 Villager? tempfixit 06-16-2008, 07:54 PM According to the Free Online Service Manual the Intake Air Temperature Sensor is located on the fender well by the battery. The Free ONLINE SERVICE MANUAL has a couple of pictures that may help you. Look under the Emissions Controls section and click on IAT Sensor reoval and installation.
