Hey i was wondering if a lancer is good for streetracing. If so what year would be the best and is it easy to find upgraded parts for it.

Non Evo lancers are very slow cars. I would not recommend them for any kind of racing.

To answer your question

(RACING THE LANCER)

You can do that, but you might want an intake an exhaust, and NOS.

You'll win if your skilled. And if your car is stick shift of course.

Also swap your tires, change your breaks (trust me) and change your spark plugs.

You'll be racing in no time. There is more that you need to do. But this is only the beginning, oh yeah and don't get pulled over.

Well i race wit a Evo 8..mines 2005 model..and i love it.
but like SunInThyHands532 said,,it requires alot of work to get it race ready..and it takes some getting used to.

I recomend the EVO 8..send me a msg if you want a list of what i have done to mine.

But to answer your question, even though most wont agree with me, I like the 2008 Evos that are being sold now.

and theyre really upgrade friendly so you can do practically anything to it.

If your not into buying a new car, try looking for an older Evo.

Theres also similar cars like the VW R32, WRX STI, and the skyline

if you want to race you need to get the evo
