88 626 2.2 timing & gages issuesmrmaintain 05-28-2008, 10:31 PM :runaround: Greetings, I just bought this from some that broke down in front of my house. They drove it with out water ( leaky heater hose ) I had the head valved and surficed, They told me to set the cam pulley at #3 because of the reduced tolerences after machining. Ok Where is the pin/key on the cam shaft pointing up or down? Will I bend valves if I get this wrong? Should I set the pulley @ 1 or 3? How cridical is this? :uhoh: As well the temp and gas gages are dead and it isnt the fuses, Any advice will be a gladly recived.
