Hey mate ..not a lot of activity on this forum. I have a 89 Amigo 4X4 2.6L FI, that has a bad fuel pump. Although i have had my share of issues with the truck. It ran great for the 1st year...then ever week..something else was bad or not working.
Why did u replace the head gasket ??? Check for vacuum leaks !!!
If you get let me know what it was !!! Thanks,

i replaced the head because it was blown, it was like that when my gf dad gave it to me. the vacuum line diagram is awful. i did the best i could on getting them back but the throttle doesnt react like it should any suggestions. if you have a 2.6 fuel injectioon, could you send me pics of your vacuum lines coming from the pump to the switch and the intake manifold, thanksl

Hey mate.....sorry for the late reply. I will see if I have any pictures or diagrams. Mine will not help, I have stripped most of the emisson options off the truck since I use it only off road in the Outback!!! The good thing is, when it does run, it will haul a lot of the amber fluid...so I don't go dry !!!
Cheers Mate, Jzjzz... and the Man from Down Under.
