lately my jeep has been making an annoying squeeking sound. it usually only happens when i first start it up and accelerate. it does not do it when i let off the gas or when in reverse. The squeeking goes with the speed so the faster you go, the faster the squeek is. its an intermittent squeek also. my brother said that it is either coming from the rear or the middle of the jeep. any ideas? its a 94' sport 4x4. thanks

Is it a solid, continuous squeal? Or a chika-chika-chika squeal? If it's chika, Ujoints is my thought. If continuous, need more info on location and quality of sound.

its more of a squeek-----squeek-----squeek. i have traced it to the drivers side rear leaf spring. my first thought is the bushings. im going to spray it with liquid wrench tonight and see if it helps.

Maybe check your wheel lugs for tightness...I know a guy that had a similar noise and had a broken wheel stuf.
