Hello,

I have a Corsa B W reg 1L 12v. And my problem is, i currently don't have a rev counter in my dails. I know it's legal to buy another set of dails with a rev counter in, but is it legal to turn the milage back from lets say 80k to the 24k my car has? Because i want a rev counter, but i don't want to lose my low milage. If i like, take photo evidence of it and document it. Will that be okay? Or should i get a garage todo it?

Thanks for your time.

I am not sure what the laws of your country are but I know it is ethically and morally correct to turn the speedo back to 0000 and include a note in the service record that the speedo was replaced at 24,000 on such and such a date. Therefore the actual mileage will be 24,000 higher than that reading on the clock.
