Control Armcitydragon 05-20-2008, 01:31 PM I'll be replacing my front left control arm due to a bad ball joint...everything looks straight forward...Question: Should the constant velocity shaft from the from the spindle assembly be loosened and pulled out, in order to take out the arm? 95 Metro Sedan 1.3 automatic. dwendt1978 05-20-2008, 01:57 PM Nope. Just remove the the nuts and bolts you see holding it to the frame. Remember to completely remove the ball joint nut & bolt, otherwise the ball joint won't come out. Once removed it should fall out. Then reinstall and torgue everything to specs. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
