DerXL 05-20-2008, 12:09 PM First of all hello and welcome to this forum. You're build is already looking very impressive. I like the details around the steering wheel. And also the engine and especially the exhaust is looking great. Will you be posting pictures of your other builds (the stock cars) ? Francuzzz 05-21-2008, 04:49 AM Beautifully :) but the racer terrible! :uhoh: billypee 05-21-2008, 08:39 AM Nice work Mihec and welcome to AF. Great to see this lovely car being built. All the best, Bill Kurzheck 05-21-2008, 08:44 AM Beautifully :) but the racer terrible! :uhoh: The build does look good so far! I'm not sure if you're saying the 312T3 or Gilles were terrible, either way I think you are misinformed.:screwy: :2cents: Mihec 09-05-2008, 08:37 AM A little update for today: Modification of suspension http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/a.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/b.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/c.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/d.jpg Finished last wheel attachement http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/e.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/f.jpg reference picture http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/g.jpg Engin done: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/a-1.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/b-1.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/c-1.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/d-1.jpg Now need some wires and other detail. Can I ask you what paint you used on the chassis parts to replicate the bare aluminum color? Robi J 09-05-2008, 12:02 PM Great work on the details. Yessss  bullroad 09-10-2008, 03:18 AM Very good work. Mihec 09-12-2008, 01:20 PM Here is a small update. Both wings are repainted. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/69.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/70.jpg 3D Ferrari logo http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/71.jpg reference: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/72.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/73.jpg Lap after lap, and than finish line :D Mihec 10-05-2008, 07:29 AM Last time I were in past: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/74.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/75.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/76.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/77.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/78.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/79.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/80.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/81.jpg T3 is going to finish line. Just a couple of turns. I got one question, has enybody know what that circle in green could be? http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/83.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/84.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/85.jpg mrawl 10-05-2008, 07:39 AM Man, that engine is sensational! Got a few painting tips for us? Type of paint, application, etc? Just on the struts - I think you're better off using metal tubes, rather than shaving off the plastic springs and trying to reuse the semi-mangled shaft. I think you'll find it's almost easier, quicker and looks better to use metal tubes. Anyway, superb work, just fantastic. Congrats. billypee 10-05-2008, 09:05 AM I don't know precisely what it is but it looks like it is a killswitch... it appears to be the right size for a hand to pull. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm pretty sure you have fitted the rear wing backwards. Either that or I put mine on back to front :( jano11 10-05-2008, 12:08 PM Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm pretty sure you have fitted the rear wing backwards. Either that or I put mine on back to front :( You're right, the upper element of the rear wing was assembled the wrong way around. Otherwise a very nice build, especially the beautifully detailed engine. Mihec 10-05-2008, 12:51 PM I follow Tamiya instructions and if you see: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/MihecNI/a-8.jpg But I should check before I mounted it to the picture reference. I will leave it just the way it is, because I spent to much time to make it to look like this And decails, they are all broken so I won't risk. Let say that is Italian lapsus:lol2: millersbrm 10-05-2008, 01:05 PM The upper green circled piece is the pull handle for the fire extinguisher. It may also include a kill switch. The lower green circle appears to be part of the fuel system, either a pump or a fuel filter. Hard to tell without a photo from the other side. I agree, the lower wing element would be more correct if it were reversed. Excellent work never-the-less! Stephen http://members.shaw.ca/millersbrm/speeddetails.html jano11 10-05-2008, 03:50 PM My bad, it's the lower element that should be installed the other way around! :) ghoul_gh 12-04-2008, 10:32 AM I`m a Chinese modeler.I`m making a 312T3 too.But the detail pic is not easy to find for me.Could you send you pic about 312t3 to me by mail.THX a lot~~~ MY mail:guohao_1015@sina.com roddo 12-04-2008, 12:51 PM The first photo looks like it could be part of the oil system (breather???). The pipe going in to it look's on the large side for it to be a fuel line? Nice work buy the way.... Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
