Anyone know how many volts are supposed to be going into the ignition coil? and what does it mean if youre only getting 5?:eek7:

At start up (cranking) you should have 12 volts to coil..
Running should be around 9 volts..
You my have a faulty ballast resistor or ECU..
Or even a loose or dirty connection & or ground..
Heres a Link to fix your problem.. once & for all..
(eliminates both ECU & Ballast Resistor) & is VERY cost effective..
